What should happen at a draw in the wilderness?

Yes, but if it's a stalemate, who cares? You're equally matched for this fight, get your items back and go at it again.Danny13oy wrote:You fight because you want your opponents gear, it only seems right that you would get itPost count wrote:How is it not fair the other way?Bl00d 1 wrote:Both get each others items. I see one advantage to double loot: if a player with cheap gear manages to kill another player with expensive gear, then he'll have made profit from it. And considering he managed to get a draw with someone with better equipment, that seems like a suitable reward.Post count wrote:Yes, but if it's a stalemate, who cares? If it's a legit draw as in both of them die at the same time and not 1 player dies and the other dies alter then both of their loot should be visible to both players. If one has cheaper gear it'll then be a race to who gets there first to get the more expensive stuff. Lol.
& when it comes to a guy maybe dying later and counting as a kill twords the other, once you leave wildy or log out it shouldn't could as a kill for the other anymore.

Re: What should happen at a draw in the wilderness?
The decision has been made and the code has been modified.
As of the next server update, whenever there is a draw in the wilderness, both players will get each other's loot.
If player A kills player B and poison kills player A as well a while later, then it depends. If player A dies inside the wilderness, the loot will go to player B. If he died outside the wilderness, he'll be able to re-obtain his own items.
Now all I need to do yet is add the code for a draw within the duel arena.
The code will also reduce the amount of lost items during a server crash. If there's a server crash or mass DC, all ongoing stakes will immediately end in a draw rather than one player winning the stake (or in some cases, neither player winning).

Hope you took the flip side of your statement that had my quote in it into consideration...
I personally wouldn't want rune for bandos or something.

It's a stalemate, do over.
