The next event is revenants. Will Revenant Guardians be included?

If I'm not mistaken all revenants will count for the personal goal. The community goal only applies to the 5 strongest revenants: ork, knight, demon, dark beast and dragon.

If you're referring to the revenant which is located in the Player owned house dungeon, it shouldn't be included, no.

I'm sure this event involves the revenants in the wilderness only.

we need more rev spawns for this tho. i rev hunt myself and after an hrs its completely clrd (SOLO)

Can confirm, the entire event is for Wilderness Revenants only.
