Mike, for the love of God, Dont fuck the current comp owners. They already grinded enough to obtain it on the current requirements, Don't just remove comps, put in new requirements and call it a day.
Some of the new requirements are hard, Not because they are a big challenge to do (for example kill somebody in mage bank), But the amount required is just unproportional to the current wild activity. 500 Kills was hard enough for people to get already because of that exact cause.
You aren't fixing the main problem which is wild (Pathing, combat triangle..etc) , You're finding new reasons for people to go into the wild without fixing it.
Whoever said killing a certain amount of people is a "trashy" requirement for comp, It does indeed show you being involved in all aspects of the game, The problem (as I already said) The amount being unproportional to the wild activity.

Perhaps a one week overlap time would be the best solution. Let current completionist cape owners use their capes for the first week after this update is added. This would allow them to make a decent amount of progress whilst not be completely hindered. After that week if you do not meet all the new requirements then you simply cannot wear the cape until you have completed the diaries.

Lmao you are the one not looking further than your own nice cape. They are not presenting this as the update that is going to save wilderness. This is an update to counter boosting. Simple as that. If it helps wilderness activity, it is a nice extra. 200m in all skills is indeed a requirement that takes some time as well. For skilling that is, not pking.

Stop being butthurt that you got 500 kills and can't wear your precious cape anymore. You should be happy that if you reached comp (so pretty much did everything ingame), there is new stuff to do. This was an update that was needed, if you like it or not.

That could be an option, But my suggestion would be:
Either credit them atleast 75% of their old progress. Because frankly, I spent enough time grinding for my comp in the past few months, Only to be forced to grind even more, and harder this time.

we all know the most effective way to get deep wildy kills is to hunt PvMers or fight divine brids with 16 brews. Boosting will be the last thing on someone's mind.

You say that like this is the only update we will ever do. Almost like this achievement diary is our one shot at fixing the wilderness and if it's not gonna fix everything then it's not worth doing at all. Or if we do this diary then we can't add anything else anymore. That's not how it works...

All I was saying is, there are pro's and cons to releasing the achievements all at once vs. releasing them in small batches. Small batches might not necessarily be better because you prefer them, other people might prefer not to lose their comp cape again and again. It's entirely subjective preference.
