Why? You can't trade if you are in combat so I don't see a problem with this?
Morphed players should not be able to interact AT ALL with players in the wildly/the environment.

If people want to watch fights - sure. But, no more.

The restrictions are a nice balance...

Of course, if you wanted to drop food you could just make a level three which is what I did :)

Yes but I can always kill these :D when they drop food, or lets say chaos elemental or other monsters kill them.

The only pain is their 30 minute protection, keep these new 30 min accs out of the wilderness too!

All transformations have been removed from the wilderness with todays update. It's easier than adding restrictions and it prevents being able to scout without being attacked.
