Introduction:
Spoiler: show
Firstly, if you're here you've obviously made your way here for a reason, you either:

- Don't know what slayer is
- Want to start slayer, and don't know how
- Don't know the location of a specific slayer monster
- Want to know which slayer equipment will benefit you
- Want to know which slayer monsters drop a specific item
- Curious to know how much experience you will gain per task
- Need to know the required slayer level or combat level of a slayer monster

If you are here for any of the above reasons, you have come to the right place. No matter what it is, ANYTHING slayer related will be found here. From the locations of each monsters, to the exp you obtain per kill AND task you complete.

So, you don't know what slayer is? Slayer is a combat based skill that allows you to ask an NPC to assign you tasks, where you can then go monster hunting. This is somewhat beneficial as it is one way to gain a vast knowledge and experience of the monsters found throughout PkH.

Where to begin slayer: You can begin slayer by going to your spellbook and clicking on the 'skilling teleport' where you will then be prompted with a list of options in your chatbox. Click on 'More skilling options', you will be directed to a new list. Click 'more skilling options', one last time, then 'Slayer'.

You will be teleported to the lowest level of the slayer tower, and directly in front of the slayer master - Duradel. Speak to him, and ask him for a task. Then presto - you start by hunting the monster he has assigned to you to kill.
Image
Slayer Master: Duradel

Note: Before leaving Duradel, you may wish to trade him and purchase an Enchanted Gem. This will aid you throughout your many tasks - if you ever want to know how many monsters you have left to kill within your task, this is the tool to help you.
Equipment:
Spoiler: show
All the items below can be found by trading Duradel or by making it yourself, from scratch.
ImageImageImage
Enchanted Gem

This is one of the most crucial tools you will want to purchase for your slayer tasks. It's useful as it allows you to communicate with Duradel. When you click on the enchanted gem, you will be prompted with a message from Duradel. The message will tell you how many monsters you have left to kill to complete your task, and whether or not you need to speak to Duradel again to collect a new task.
Image
Slayer's Staff
This staff does not require any level to wield. However, to use the spell that is tied to this staff, you will need level 51 magic. The spell used in conjunction with the staff is known as 'Magic Dart' - located on the standard book of spells.
Image
Spiny Helmet

Spiny Helmet requires no levels to wield. It is rather pointless to own, unless you're trying to obtain a Slayer Helmet.
Image
Black Mask
Black Mask is a mask that you can wear on your face. It is also an additional item piece that you will need to make a Slayer Helmet. This mask also has the ability of increasing your offensive bonuses whilst killing the monster you have been assigned to kill by Duradel.
Image
Earmuffs
Earmuffs are another essential item needed to construct a Slayer Helmet. When equipped it is worn on the middle of your characters head, then going down to both ears.
Image
Nose Peg
A nosepeg has no significant use other than being a part needed to complete the Slayer Helmet. When equipped, it will go on your characters nose.
Image
Facemask
When equipped, this facemask is located on your characters lower face. This item is also needed to complete the Slayer Helmet.
Image
Garlic
Image
Slayer Helmet
The Slayer Helmet is a player made item. 55 crafting is required to make this item, along with; a spiny helmet, black mask, nosepeg, earmuffs, facemask, 2,000,000gp and 25pkp. When the helmet is fully constructed, it is quite beneficial to have on your slayer tasks, as it boosts all combat skills by a 15% increase when on a slayer task.

Note: Pkp is also known as Pk Honor Points. These can be obtained from kills and anything that gains you experience. There are multiple ways of obtaining these points. Some methods are known to be faster than the other.
Monsters:

There are a total of 13 different monsters you can be assigned to kill, and only 9 of which that need a specific slayer level to be able to kill.

Exp Obtained Per Kill: 600 Exp

Training Teleport Prompt: Beginner & Advanced
If, for whatever reason, these Giant Spiders become over crowded.. there is an alternative. There are 2 more Giant Spiders found behind the castle in Lumbridge. There are two ways you can get there, one will teleport you almost directly in front of them, where the other involves you to run a distance.
Image
Option 1: Cities Teleport > Lumbridge:

To teleport to Giant Spiders using this method, all you need to do is go to your spellbook, click on 'Cities Teleport', 'More Cities' then Lumbridge. Once in Lumbridge, start running behind the castle until you get to the path. When you find the path, follow it until you see ruins with a "!" icon. Once you have found these two things, you'll know you've found the Giant Spiders. The downside is, you can only find 2 Giant Spiders at this location.

When you have done so you'll be prompted with a list of options, choose 'More Skilling Zones', and then 'Farming'. Upon arriving at Farming, run west and speak to Dantaera. Again, you will be given a list of options to choose from. Select 'Teleport to a tree patch' and then 'West of Lumbridge', you will then arrive in Lumbridge, and will need to run north-west to get to the Giant Spiders.

Infernal Mages are located on the second floor of the Slayer Tower. To be given a task of Infernal Mages is rare, but don't let that fool you.. as they drop nothing at all. I would suggest wearing dragonhide for this task.

Skilling Teleport > More Skilling Zones > More Skilling Zones > Slayer

Once you have been teleported into the Slayer Tower, run south into the Banshees room and go up the stairs. When you are finally on the second floor, run into the room north of the staircase. Skilling Teleport > More Skilling Zones > More Skilling Zones > Slayer

There is a total of two routes you can take to get to the Bloodveld room. Both involve running and climbing a object that requires no specific skill level.

Option 1: Staircase in Banshee Room:

To take this route, you can follow the Infernal Mages method, but just continue running past the Infernal Mages room, to the room beyond it. This is where you can find Bloodvelds.

Option 2: Climb-up spikey chain

Upon arriving on the first floor of the Slayer Tower, run south-west to where you can find some Basilisks. Once you have found it, climb up it - you will then climb into the Dust Devil room. If you look north, you can see a door that leads into a room full of Bloodvelds, go through it to begin your task.

Green Dragons can be somewhat risky, as they are located in the wilderness. There are pkers that tend to camp Green Dragons, so just be careful. If you wish to play it safe, it is advised to take teletabs and stay within level 20 wild - as you can just teletab out if someone starts attacking you. But be warned, some pkers use 'Tele Block'.

Note: Do not forget to take an anti-dragon shield or antifire shield.

The best route to take to Dust Devils is running south-west of Duradel, to the spikey chain. The spikey chain does not require an agility level to climb. Taking this route will allow you to climb directly up to the Dust Devil room. It is less time consuming, as climbing up the stairs in the Banshees room requires a lot more running and clicking.

Option 1: Spikey Chain:

Run south-west of Duradel and climb up the spikey chain to get to the Dust Devil room. Once you are here, run south-west to the staircase and climb it. Run east into the next room - this is the Gargoyle room. There is a total of 9 Gargoyles, which are never crowded. The most popular location to kill them is in the south-east corner.[/color]

Option 2 : Climbing the Stairs:

When you're on the first floor of the Slayer Tower, you'll want to make your way south into the Banshees room, to climb the stairs. Once you are on the second floor, run past the room of Infernal Mages and Bloodvelds. When inside the Bloodveld room, enter the door that leads into the Dust Devil room then run south-west to climb the stairs then run east into the Gargoyle room.

By now you should be familiar with the routes and floors of the tower. On the third floor, within the Abyssal Demon room, there are a total of 5 Dark Beasts that share the room with the Abyssal Demons. This room is usually over crowded, but normally for Abyssal Demons and not for Dark Beasts. On the rare occasion, you may find it hard to get a Dark Beast to yourself. They are the highest required slayer level monster you will ever be assigned, and are also the slayer monster that drops dark bows. These guys hit low, so food isn't completely necessary, unless you are planning on camping them.

To get to Mithril Dragons is beyond simple. Go to your spellbook and click on 'Monster Teleport'. You will be prompted with options in your spellbook tab, select 'Dragons', which is located in the left hand corner. You will be teleported into a room (usually found inside Brimhaven Dungeon), filled with all different type of dragons. Mithril Dragons are located towards the south of this room, and there are a total of 3 different Mithril Dragons you can kill. However, they do get over crowded A LOT, so it's best to skip this task or wait until the 'dead' period of PkH.
