We might, or some variation thereof. We just didn't want to postpone the release even further while we sort that out. We can add the crowns in the next update.
Small FYI, the highscores update every 10 minutes on the dot (so 08:00, 08:10, 08:20, ...).
Say we do lose a HC status due to a in-game bug/glitch that was not the fault of the players, is that person now just SOL on that account?
I know in the update post Mike mentioned that 'safe' deaths, such as Jad wouldn't revoke a status. Hypothetically, like in the case of the Jad spawning several waves early, you (for whatever reason) plank to Jad, and the game bugs and counts that as a 'non-safe' death. Not saying this WILL happen, but what if it does? Especially on a account that's not just a few hours old, that someone has put the time into and was not doing anything in particular that would 'risk' the status.

Common sense applies. It's exactly the same as refunds. If you lose something and it can be verified that it was due to a problem on our end then you get a refund. Or more generally, if shit happens and it's our fault then we make it right. I'm surprised you'd even have to ask that, it's how we've always done things.
