22 May Updates - karambwans, potion delay & bugfixes

Karambwan fishing, cooking & eating has been added. To fish karambwans, go to the south of Brimhaven and talk to Tiadeche. Raw karambwanji are obtained at the fishing spot south-east of Tai Bwo Wannai village or in Tiadeche's shop for 10K coins each.
Cooked karambwans heal 18 HP each and just like OSRS can be consumed after food or potions with no delay. After eating a cooked karabwan, you must wait 1.8 seconds before you can drink a potion or eat another piece of food.

In other news:
  • The delay between potion sips has been increased to 1.8 seconds (from 1.2 seconds)
  • Fixed a bug where attacking someone in the wilderness with a granite maul special attack would not skull you
  • You can now use a (skilling-related) item on Piles in the wilderness resource area, he will then only note all of that specific item rather than all skilling-related items in your inventory
  • Added the ::map command, which opens our world map in your browser. If no parameters are supplied, shows your current location. You can also use ::map x y h ('h' being an optional parameter) to display a specific location
  • Fixed a bug where depositing your inventory with a nearly full bank would in some cases tell you that your bank is full, even if there is enough space
  • Fixed not being able to cut logs with an inferno adze while having a full inventory
  • Fixed incorrect firemaking XP when cutting logs with an inferno adze inside a Player-Owned House
  • Fixed a bug where not all PvP equipment drops would count towards completion of the revenant task in the wilderness achievement diary
  • Fixed a visual bug where the wrong amount is displayed when obtaining a god cape from the Mage Arena
  • New players now have the 'bald' OSRS character as default character look
  • Fixed bone drops outside the wilderness being noted when you have completed the PvM part of the wilderness achievement diary
  • Fixed a few minor typo's

In the near future, you can also look forward to some more content made by our developer Andres: master clues, skilling clues and added clue locations, as well as demonic gorilla's with zenyte jewelry and heavy ballista, made by our trial developer Jeremy. Meanwhile, I will be working on some inventory enhancing additions (such as the looting bag, rune pouch, costume room additions and menagerie) in preparation for Ultimate Ironman Mode! There's also a few other works in progress that we may decide to release in between, but that remains to be seen.

Thank you Mike for the quality update and bug fixes as always. Expect a "10 hour of fishing karambwans" video tomorrow. Also, how afk karambwans are? If they are really afk, is the experience low enough so it's not too overpowered?

Edit: ::Map is the best thing ever. Thank you Mike! Also, you fish karambwanji too slow. You should also get multiple karambwanji at once. They're so much slower than fishing karambwans, and since the shop is camped for the bait, this is only way to get the bait.

Is 10k coin dump for 1 karambwan? If yes, increase it to 100k. Gets rid of some of that juicy money from our eco.

I wouldn’t consider them afkable. They don’t stack, so you’re forced to bank after catching 26.

well yeah, i am just thinking about Rocktails & how they're 150k for 1 bait. It should be similar, after all - A friends favorite word will be used mostly in PK, just like rocktails.

Any idea on the stats/hit for the ballista? Will it be “the range equilivent of an ags” like it is in OSRS?

I made them slow to fish on purpose, considering karambwanji are stackable and you don't need to bank in between. They are extremely afk'able. We might consider increasing the catch rates if there is no risk to it (as in, there's no real way to abuse the afk'ness of karambanji).

Also, Tiadeche's shop is personal, meaning everyone has a stack of 50 they can purchase and the purchases of other players don't affect the amount that's in your shop.

Yeah, that's true, took me a while to figure it out. Btw, you can't a karambwan-brew combo, your brew won't be consumed.
