Account Security.
This guide will give you a few tips on how to maintain account security.

What points will we be going through?
1: Hacking.
2: Phising. (This is mainly Forum-security)
3. Scamming.
4. Few tips to stay safe from luring.

1. Hacking.
Hacking is when a other player, takes away the real owners account.
Security based on hacking, is mainly in your hands. The obvious, and basic tips are.

1. Do never give your password away.
2. Don't fall for stupid things like, "Hey! You can say your password backwards".
3. Do not share your accounts, trust me even your friends can backstab you.
4. Be carefull with what you download, all "unknown downloads" could be a potential threat to your computer, therefor its always smart to keep your virus scanner Up2date, so he can disable keyloggers right when he finds them.
5. Be carefull with what links you visit.

If you have any questions, about your Account security then feel free to pm me.

2. Phishing.
Phishing is a fake website that tracks your account details. (Username\Password)
No I won't go into details for this, simply because I don't want to teach people how to phish.
I've already written a guide about how to stay safe against phishing, with some help of
Double Edged.

You can find this below.

As long as it says .NET you're save, if it says .tk, or any other form of hosting website THEN ITS A PHISHING WEBSITE!

Example of what a .TK looks like:

If you encouter a phishing website, either in your PM or on Forums please report them by clicking the exclamation mark:

3. Scamming.
Security in scamming is also mainly in your hands. I'll give you a few tips on how to check that you're not beeing scammed. I won't go to deep into certain scamming tactics, simply because i don't want to teach people to scam.

This includes Staking scams too.

1. Always check your second trade screen, this is where you can check if all the items are there.
2. If you're unsure about a items price, ask a player that does know about it!
3. Don't fall for money doubling, inventory gambling, or any other trick\game.
4. Always check your Second staking screen!
5. Make sure that you are picking the same weapons. (This is the 3rd option you get with staking)
6. Always be carefull with trading\staking, and check if the options are right. Fast accepting, is fast scamming.
7. Borrowing money to take off a Status, Premium\Donator.

Just in general, always check your Second screens, and make sure nothing has changed.

4. Luring.
Luring is mainly in your hands too.
I'll give a few tips on how to stay safe from luring.

1. Don't fall for tricks like, "Giving 100m to the first that comes to KBD!"
2. Be carefull with who you team up with.
3. Be carefull with following someone into the wilderness.
4. Don't go AFK, when you're following someone!
5. If you fight at clan wars, check the Dangerous option: Image

If you're scammed Contact a Help\Pvp moderator, and they'll help you with it.
