Clue scroll guide - How to do arrows!

The Arrow Guide
Hello fellow pkhonor players! I think it is safe to say that the
clue scroll guide is the guide which is used most often! But there is one part which is barely explained, and which takes a lot of time for some people: The Arrow! That's why I decided to explain my method. Feel free to make suggestions or give me respectful feedback in the comments!
How the arrow works [basics]
The arrow points in a direction with a specific color. Black means there is a big distance between you and the place-to-be. White means there is small distance between you and the place-to-be. Grey is the situation between those two. Use a spade on the location you have to be and you will get a new clue or a casket.
Instead of walking in the direction of the arrow, there is an easier method. Just follow these steps and you should get the location of your arrow within one minute!
Teleport to Edgeville. There are four possibilities now:
- The arrow is pointed south and has a grey color.
There is only one spot for that. Which is southwest from Barbarian Village between the two trees.
There are multiple spots for this one, which are all in the wildy.
Be aware that you can get pked here, so just bring a spade and your clue and you will not lose anything if you die (don't get skulled though)
Teleport to greens dragon with the pk portal north of edgeville bank.
The arrow is white
The location is either south or west from green dragons.
The arrow is pointed north and has a black color
The location is either east of mage bank or southeast from mage bank. Tele to mage bank and pull the lever.
There is only one possibility for that, north of ardougne zoo (Skilling teleport-Thieving and walk west).
There are multiple locations for this. Teleport to lumbridge (city teleports-lumbridge).
The arrow is pointed north.
The location is south of varrock.
The arrow is pointed northwest.
The location is in the building in the wheat field north of draynor. The entrance to this field is a gate west of it.
The arrow is pointed southwest.
The location is in the lumbridge swamp.
The arrow is pointed northeast.
The location is in the mine north of al kharid (city teleport-more cities...-Al Kharid).

It says if you don't bring anything but the clue and spade into the wild you wont lose anything if you die. I thought you lost the clue if you died?

Almost everything protects over the clue. If you take 3 items or less, you will get it back (unskulled)

mentioning thibecause the arrow was black when i edge teled,NOT white.
your guide misled me to run from mage bank all the way there
