Continuing the work on the RuneLite client

Post by Mike » Sun Nov 17, 2024 11:03 pm

I'm currently continuing the work on the RuneLite client, slowly but surely making progress. I have now made several changes to improve the look, feel and behavior of the client and loading screen (things simply didn't behave the way you'd expect to and the screen settings would reset on each client startup). The login screen and login handling still needs some work, which is what I'm now working on. After that, there are a lot of finishing touches still to be done before we will have a properly functional client, but nothing we can't handle.

I do apologize for currently being unresponsive on the forums, Discord and the internal communications channel. I have very limited time and energy to work on PkHonor in my spare time outside my freelance programming work (considering I have a family to support and I no longer get paid for my work on PkHonor). As such, I have currently decided to dedicate as much of the time and energy I have for PkHonor on actual development. I'll be sure to keep up with the ongoing discussions and requests when I am able to ;) .

A bit random, but I've always been curious what sort of freelance programming stuff @Mike does? Like are we talking Fiverr stuff? Contract work for other businesses? If you're looking for a 9-5 type job and need full benefits I can always see if my company would be interested in hiring you.
